It's January....freezing cold and we have the perfect activity to keep you busy

For this month’s craft project, Theo has made a cute pine cone table decoration. It’s really easy to put together and looks so lovely!
What you’ll need:
You should be able to find all these things in craft shops or the craft sections of high street shops and supermarkets.
- A pine cone - You may have some trees near you that have dropped their pine cones on the floor: you can have fun collecting some, if so! If you can’t find any, you can buy them from craft shops.
- Green paint
- A small paintbrush
- Brightly coloured pens
- A chenille stem
- White paint
- Glue
- A wood slice
How to do it:
- Paint your pine cone green (make sure you paint the underside of it as well!). Leave it to dry.
- Use your paintbrush to carefully add some white paint to the end of the pine cone’s scales, to look like snow.
- Squeeze a blob of glue onto the middle of the wood slice
- Sit your pine cone on the glue. If it won’t balance by itself, you might need to hold it in place for a while, until the glue dries.
And that’s it!
