This is the simplest ever way to occupy your kids for a few minutes.. especially if they enjoy colouring in... (one of mine does and the other isn't interested). There are loads of printable bookmark templates on the web - have a look around and you will find tonnes of options. Simply find one you like and print off the template. Once you've printed it off, cut out the template of the bookmark. Glue in onto a thick piece of cardboard to give it strength. Colour it in! Perfect for your summer reading!

Blog attempt no 2! We've decided to make some simple and fun DIY spinners. These are so easy to make. All you need is: - A piece of card (white is best but any colour will do)- Felt tip pens or pencils- A cup to trace around (or a compass, or anything round!)- A pair of scissors- Some string Step 1 - Simply take a pencil and draw a circle around the base of the cup onto the card. Take two bored kids and two Mums trying (and failing) to work... We decided that it might be fun to try out blogging and making some slime. Here's what happened...
